Helen Young: Climate Change Expert and Ambassador for School Travel Plans in Sutton

As the former lead weather presenter for the BBC, featuring on the News At Ten, Helen Young is an expert on climate change - and a well-known Sutton resident.

We are also lucky to have her support as an 'Ambassador for School Travel Plans' in Sutton. In this role Helen visits schools, usually for a two hour visit, during which time she can take assembly, discuss the school travel plan and sustainable travel, and teach about climate change. Helen is a very engaging and knowledgeable figure and as such as part of her visit many schools ask her to perform an official presentation or opening, in support of their school travel plan or other 'green' initiatives.
