WoW 2010-11

If you are a WoW school you should have received materials by now. There are some changes to WoW: you should have received the info but it's attached to this page as well.

the Big WoW

Save the date for The Big WoW which is an annual celebration of all walking..and especially walking to school!

This year there will be two events, one at Sutton arena on 18th October, and one in Beddington Park on 19th October. At the first Sutton will recieve a baton, which is being passed between every London borough by walking chains, from Merton; and on the second day we will pass it onto Croydon.

Schools are invited to take part in a 'Big WoW Big Walk' on 19th October in Beddington Park, accompanied by a Samba band from the London School of Samba! Full details will be sent out shortly...

Accreditation events

If your school applied for STP accreditation last year you should recieve a letter, from Transport for London, inviting you all to the event on Friday 8th October at The Kennington Oval cricket ground. The day comprises workshops and a presentation, with activities for younger people as well as adults. Normally you can bring up to two pupils and one staff member, but can request a second staff place if required.
